Who are we?

Maria Rooms is a family business that started when Annika happened to be cleaning windows in an apartment. She and her husband, Indrek, had already been considering the idea of starting a guest apartment business. It turned out that the freshly cleaned apartment was for sale, and Annika mentioned it to Indrek. Her intuition told her that something new could come from this. The opportunity was there, and they purchased the apartment. The year was 2017, and the first guest apartment was born. Since much of this business operates online, the parents of five enlisted the help of their eldest daughter, Eva-Maria, who manages everything related to the behind-the-scenes digital aspects. A few years later, here we are. The business has grown—more apartments have been added, and the younger four children have also been involved, from assembling furniture to preparing the apartments for guests.

Over the years, we have gained many satisfied loyal customers, and we are delighted to offer our guests a truly homely experience.

PS! The official name behind Maria Rooms Ringipood OÜ is a family business founded in 1993, which sells construction materials at the Ringtee business center in Kuressaare (Kalevi 28). Running the store is Indrek's main job, and it's also where our family's children have gained their first work experiences.

Eva-Maria

Eva manages Booking, Airbnb, and the website. She ensures that bookings do not overlap and communicates with clients. She takes photos of the apartments and partially oversees accounting. When visiting Kuressaare, she also helps with cleaning.

Annika

Annika prepares the apartment to ensure guests are satisfied and happy. If needed, she offers transportation in Kuressaare, arriving within 5-10 minutes if a guest has an issue, and is 100% helpful. Annika also monitors prices and creates beneficial solutions for the client.

Indrek

Indrek is also on-site in Kuressaare, and Annika’s description applies to him as well. If something breaks or needs repair, Annika immediately delegates it to Indrek, and everything is resolved quickly. He also handles invoicing and manages the accounting.
